The lectures given by Eva Pierrakos from 1957 until her death in 1979 are the very heart of Pathwork. They are an astonishing roadmap leading to personal responsibility, self-knowledge, and true self-acceptance. They show us the path to true love for ourselves, others, and the Divine. The lectures cover a wide range of topics on our human journey—from struggling with self-doubt (self-hatred and fear of inadequacy) to the barriers we have set up in relationships with others and, ultimately, with what each of us considers God. The lectures teach us that vital life energy, feelings, and insights are often deeply buried beneath misconceptions about the nature of reality.
Each of us is familiar with at least some of these misconceptions, for example: “It is a weakness to want and accept help; I do not deserve love and kindness; or responsibility means a loss of freedom.” When we carry such misconceptions into our adult lives, especially when they are unconscious, we effectively surrender our physical, spiritual, and emotional freedom to forces outside the reach of our awareness. The result of losing this freedom is devastating—a deeply rooted feeling of unhappiness and a profound poverty of spirit.
Pathwork lectures provide highly precise and practical tools for dissolving such misconceptions, for transforming the unconscious into the conscious, and for activating the higher awareness that resides within every human soul.
